Description

One small step for man, one great light kit for mankind! Light up your LEGO NASA Apollo 11 Lunar Lander 10266 with Light My Bricks!

Featuring 10 individual LED lights, celebrate the 50th anniversary of the exploration of the moon in two ways, thanks to this ingeniously designed kit and easy-to-follow assembly instructions! Either secure your accent and decent stages of the model together or detach and light up the accent stage's rocket booster with a powerful Large Orange Bit Light and several additional LEGO brick elements provided.

The exploration doesn't stop there, however. Each of the Lander's stabilisation thruster is lit with four Cool White Bit Lights and shown in animated action, thanks to our Scary Effects Board.

An incredible centrepiece anniversary set, the LEGO display surface is highlighted and illuminated by another four of our Cool White Bit Lights housed underneath the Apollo module, for a true moonlit glow.

Light My Bricks LEGO Lighting Kits provide an easy way for LEGO fans to customize their models using LED lights. With detailed, step-by-step instructions, anyone can light up their LEGO set. All our kits are plug and play - no electronics knowledge needed!

IMPORTANT NOTE

We recommend lighting this kit by a USB Power Bank or USB Wall Adaptor (to connect to a mains outlet), which is NOT included in this kit. If you do not have a USB Power Bank or USB Wall Adaptor, you can purchase them from our Powering section.

Great set

This has it all, built in two stages, with one extra optional light for when the top part of the lander returns to space. There's some flickering lights and other lights that "burn" on and off to make adjustments.

The instructions were easy to follow, although, you'll need a lot of force to attach the single round bricks to the 4x4 round bricks. Also, when they have you lead out the power cable, that step really should be done nearer to the end, because this locks down the 8 unit board and makes it difficult to add in the wire from the top part of the lander later.

Still, no real complaints. Save the instructions to your computer and search/replace 300x225 with 1024x768 then reload, to have a high quality image version of the instructions.
