IMPORTANT NOTE
We recommend lighting this kit by a USB Power Bank or USB Wall Adaptor(to connect to a mains outlet), which is NOT included in this kit. If you do not have a USB Power Bank or USB Wall Adaptor, you can purchase them from our Powering section.

So this was the first time attempting a light kit. Looking at the Delorean without lights just wasn’t enough so after looking at a ton of different brands and videos I decided to go with Light My Bricks. I have some pros and cons. It being my first time doing this most reviews said it had good directions and looked great. I will echo those sentiments. Directions were good and it does in fact look great. However, I somehow managed to break an 8 port board (luckily they throw in a spare) and a side and the dashboard light I either pinched a cable too hard or something bc they didn’t end up working. By the time I realized I had put in too much time and wasn’t about to take it apart and untwist cables. This brings me to my last wish. The 2.0 looks so much easier with flat cables and numbered bags and the ONLY reason I didn’t upgrade was bc the 2.0 doesn’t have the wheel lights. Those were too cool not to get. So yes, the LMB kit is great, definitely elevated the build and was also a good learning experience.
