Description

Add some Christmas cheer to the LEGO? Winter Holiday Train with our Light My Bricks LEGO? Lighting Kit and help guide the locomotive through the night as it delivers presents, decorations and a dash of magic to the townsfolk!

This Light Kit is especially designed to suit the motorised version of the train. The Light My Bricks power functions cable allows you to power the lights using your existing power functions battery box. Choose between the Power Functions 1.0 cable or Powered Up cable (power functions 2.0).

Important Note:

This light kit is powered using the compatible Power Functions Cable or Powered Up Cable option, which can be connected and powered by your existing power functions battery pack. The lights cannot be powered unless your Winter Holiday Train set is motorised.

The Power Functions 1.0 cable is only compatible with LEGO 7.4-9V battery packs models 88000, 8881, and 84559 (rechargeable 7.4v 2009-2013) .

It is NOT compatible with LEGO rechargeable battery pack model 8878 (7.4V output 2013-current)

Fantastic Addition To Your Lego Winter Village!!!

This light kit really makes this set stand out while adding warmth and joy. Anyone that see's my Winter Village lit up instantly falls in love with it and can't stop staring and admiring how much the light really compliment everything.

Looks and works great and cabin still playable

I really liked that you can still take the roof off the cabin and play inside as my toddler loves to take the people in and out and pretend they are having dinner in there. The build was relatively easy compared to other sets. So far I have not had issues with the wiring interfering with the train going around the tracks. I received this as a gift and unfortunately the gifted ordered the version with the wrong cable for the power functions I have. In the video I currently have the lights powered with a flat pack from another set. The lights in the cabin, tree and front of the train are weak for this reason but on the plus side the flat pack fits neatly in the first train where the other cables from the power function are and is reachable to turn off and on so you can run the train without the lights if you want. I've tried messaging customer service 3 times to get the correct cable but unfortunately the folks ice spoken with either don't understand what I'm saying, they don't get back to me or they don't respond altogether. Strange because the customer service for all the other sets I've done this month has been excellent.

Almost a fully-working train

Love the integration with the powered-up hub, which coupled with some you-tube videos on converting the train to powered-up result in an operable train. The one complaint is the mounting of the expansion board under the caboose is problematic, I had to try to zip tie it up to keep it from hanging too low and catching on the tracks and the clearances are such that the crossings I have with tiles on the top of the track are too tall to allow the train to clear. It's a bit finicky to get all of the connectors into the locomotive
